About WSF

The World Surgical Foundation Mission

WSF is committed to providing charitable surgical health care to the world’s poor and underserved in developing nations regardless of race, color, religion, or creed.

About WSF

World Surgical Foundation has performed thousands of free surgeries since October 1997. We have improved health care in many third-world countries, including Ecuador, Ethiopia, Haiti, Honduras, India, Nigeria, the Philippines, and Thailand.

Volunteer surgeons from multiple specialties, nurses, and support staff make these surgical camps possible. They provide life-changing surgeries and education to medical staff during each trip.

We provide education and donate medical equipment, supplies, and medicine around the world. Your donations make all this possible. Funds are continually needed to purchase and ship desperately needed equipment, supplies, and medicine across the globe.

What we do:

• Hold surgical missions in needy world communities several times each year.
• Perform 125 to 200 free surgeries during each 5 to 10-day mission.
• Donate medical equipment, supplies, and pharmaceuticals to these impoverished areas.
• Train physicians and nurses in their communities.
• Adopt hospitals around the world.

Adopt-a-Hospital

WSF can continue health care in places long after our teams go home. Adoption means providing hospital beds, medical equipment, and supplies. We also send surgical mission teams to care for patients and train local doctors and nurses.

The Difference

WSF promotes sustainable patient care and medical self-reliance by teaching local physicians and medical professionals surgical techniques and showing them how to use donated equipment and supplies.

Your participation is vital to our success. WSF invites you to become involved. Click here to learn more.
