Dr. Domingo Alvear Receives 2012 Humanitarian Service Award

HARRISBURG, PA – Domingo T. Alvear, MD, pediatric surgeon with PinnacleHealth Pediatric Surgery Associates, has received the 2012 International College of Surgeons US/Pfizer Humanitarian Service Award. Dr. Alvear is recognized for his extensive work around the world with the World Surgical Foundation, whose mission trips provide healthcare in places where healthcare technology and access are not available, and his work with the ICS.

Dr. Alvear’s accomplishments, contributions to humanity and his inspiration to others will be celebrated during the ICS-US Convocation Ceremony in Atlanta on June 9.
